During my days as an employee of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, first as a Radio Operator in Port Hedland and later as Public Relations and Fundraising Manager, I came across a quote from Margaret Mead, which I really love and which I thought truly depicted some of the people involved in the founding of the Service:
